What is Queerswich

What is Queerswich?

QUEERSWICH  is a free family fun day to celebrate Ipswich's LGBTQIA+ community.

The inaugural annual festival, held on Sunday 4 June 2023, attracted more than 5,300 attendees and made a significant contribution to the local economy.

Ipswich is a rich and diverse city with a growing LGBTQIA+ community.

Queerswich is your chance to celebrate Pride and raise queer visibility in the region. We invite members of the LGBTQIA+ community, their families and their friends, to enjoy a free family fun day out in our beautiful city, celebrating all people, inclusive of their sexual identity, gender, family dynamic and lived experience.

Allies of the LGBTQIA+ community are very welcome.

Queerswich brings all of the glitz and glamour of the rainbow. So strap yourself in Ipswich and be ready to shine bright and be part of the fabulousness.

*LGBTQIA+ means Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans/Transsexual/Transgender, Questioning/Queer, Intersex and members of the community who

identify as other gender and sexual orientations.
