Diamond Diva

Here are a few ways our Diamond Divas can get involved and engage with the Ipswich and greater audience:

Naming rights - own the name of one of the following:

The Queerswich Stage

All the Colours of the Rainbow Kids' Area

Paws for Pride Pageant

First three sponsors to choose the Diamond Diva Package and opt to name a principle element of the event, can have their brand synonymously linked to one of our amazing zones or competition.

All marketing in the lead up to Queerswich, as well as announcements throughout event day, will attach your business name to that feature e.g. "Welcome Miss Pixie La More to the Xxxxx Queerswich Stage!" or "Congratulations to Fluffy, our winner of the Xxxx’s Paws for Pride Puppy Pageant!".

Competition sponsors can even appear as a guest judge for the pet competition.

Host a market stall - as a premier sponsor, you would be given a free stall site in a prime location with excellent views of all the action on stage.

From here you have the perfect opportunity to display all of your branded goodies and engage with attendees.  You have free reign to offer product samples and giveaways, run competitions or present promotional offers.

Signage can be provided by event organisers to denote premier sponsor status for your site.

Display your brand’s signage - Diamond Diva sponsors can expect their large banners and signs to be front and center on the Queerswich stage and at prime locations throughout the event.

Your brand’s logo on Queerswich social media platforms, website, posters and flyers.

Your brand's images and blurb on Queerswich.com plus a link to your business.

Inclusion in media releases to regional and metro news outlets.

As a premier sponsor, our Diamond Divas can expect their brand, name and logo to be shouted more loudly than 5000 drag queens belting out Kylie Minogue.

Signage can be provided by event organisers to denote VIP sponsor status.

Your brand’s logo on Queerswich social media platforms, website, posters and flyers.

Your brand's images and blurb on Queerswich.com plus a link to your business.

By the numbers...

  • Ipswich is the fastest growing city in Queensland with a population of nearly 250 000 people.

  • It is estimated that 11 in every 100 Australians identify as having a diverse sexual orientation, sex or gender identity. That's approximately 27 500 LGBTQIA+ individuals in Ipswich who make up the households and families who contribute to our local community and economy.

  • We are less than 30 minutes from Brisbane - an easy commute for our Brissy queers and allies. That's not only another 2.5 million people to invite to the party but a population where 79.5% voted "yes" in the 2017 same sex marriage plebiscite (the sixth highest federal electorate in Australia).

  • About 32 000 registered pets live in Ipswich. Tulmur place is a dog-friendly venue and Queerswich will be encouraging owners to bring their pooches to the event and be a part of the inaugural Paws for Pride Puppy Pageant. Australian dog owners spent $20.5 billion on their pooches in 2020. And what crowd doesn't love a small white fluffy dog in a rainbow tutu?

  • The pink dollar is real and powerful (census data shows that people in same-sex couple relationships were more likely to have higher personal incomes than those in opposite-sex couple relationships). The LGBTQIA+ community's estimated aggregate spending power in Australia is over AU$95 billion (LGBT Capital 2019).

  • Participation in Queerswich gives corporate sponsors the opportunity for customer engagement, lead generation, brand visibility and the unparalleled PR associated with supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. Appeal to customers who are specifically looking for socially responsible businesses and secure your company's reputation as a supportive, progressive and inclusive powerhouse.
